CPCSSN Lead | Dr. Alexander Singer
Dr. Alexander Singer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Manitoba where he also serves as the Director of Research and Quality Improvement. As the Network Director of the MaPCReN, he leads and collaborates on several practice-based research studies. His current research and policy interests include EMR data quality, optimization of EMR use and future interoperability of digital health records in Manitoba. Dr. Singer has led several studies focused on the use of electronic medical data reposirty record data to conduct large population-based health studies aimed at improving the care delivered to patients in primary care clinics. He is also a family physician clinician-teacher in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

CPCRN Lead| Dr. Gayle Halas
Dr. Halas is the inaugural Rady Chair in Interprofessional Collaborative Practice, focused on team-based primary health care, and the communication and interactions that enable collaborative practice, particularly for addressing complex needs and care.

Network Manager | Leanne Kosowan
Leanne is the regional network manager supporting both local and national primary care research studies, as well as the research manager for the Canadian Primary Care Research Network. Leanne supports studies aimed at both improving data quality and capture in EMR-based data repositories, as well as exploring primary care disease prevalence, health service utilization and primary prevention.

Data Manager | William Peeler
Bill is our local data manager. Bill assists with data curation, cleaning and processing of the MaPCReN repository.Bill has experience working with administrative and electronic medical records data.

Data Quality Coordinator | Fahim Faisal
Fahim is the data quality coordinator supporting activities to strengthen the quality of the MaPCReN data repository including data cleaning, pre-processing, encoding and reporting. Fahim also brings prior experience in administrative and health data acquisition, analysis, and linkage, informing the development of analytical and predictive models to support longitudinal surveillance and quality improvement.

  Office Assistant | Madhav Kapur
Madhav provides administrative support to the network and assists with the recruitment of new clinics and providers into the MaPCReN provider network.

  Research Assistant | Nimashi Katuwawala
Nimashi is the research assistant for MaPCReN providing research support and coordination for provincial and national research studies.

  Research Assistant | Samaneh Azarbarzin
Samaneh is a research assistant supporting implementation of primary care trials in Manitoba.

Patient Lead | Kerri Mackay
Kerri is the patient lead for the MaPCReN patient network. Kerri contributes to engagement and expansion of the patient network.

  Post-Doctoral Fellow | Dr. Angélica Nascimento De Oliveira
Angélica is a postdoctoral fellow with the MaPCReN network. Her work aims to develop infrastructure to support more robust and standardized Patient Reported Measure data collection.
